I think I’m not going to do what my thesis instructors are pressuring me to do.
They want me to do both a positional monitor AND a positional therapy device. That doesn’t even make sense, especially since the doctor who I talked to said that the monitor is what people need and that there are already a tonne of positional therapy solutions out there. And THEN my instructors suggested that I ALSO package an existing and potentially non-patented technology that was written about in a paper that I was given to read by Dr. Ryan.
No, I’m not going to design 3(4) crappy things. I am going to design one thing and the necessary app to go with it, and MAYBE package the tested tech. The positional therapy doesn’t make sense and I am going to refer to my notes and then double check with Michael to make sure that it would be a step in the wrong direction.
I will do whatever I want. I do not want to make something ugly that I would not feel proud putting my name on. This is my thesis, this is my time to make something that is very thought through and functional. Not a fucking turtle backpack.
